Steph Barnes

Steph (she/her) is Brand Lead at Queer Surf Club (QSC), a CIC creating inclusive surfing to save our oceans. Started in the UK but with global reach and over 10.5k Instagram followers, QSC has been described as ‘magic’ and ‘life-saving’.

Steph knows the power of bringing together the queer community in the ocean to experience joy, belonging and love, and process grief, exclusion and anxieties, together. QSC is the merging of two huge parts of her identity. She’ll be speaking about the importance of creating queer spaces, how it can be done and the incredible impact it can have on the lives of those in the LGBTQIA+ community.
