Lucy Luck

My name is Lucy Luck (She/They) and I am a scientific communicator and marine conservationist based in the South West. I am also known as Buccaneer for Wildlife on social media, where I showcase the incredible wildlife we have on our coastal doorstep, share stories from people all across the UK Marine Conservation sector, from Citizen Scientists to Wildlife Guides, on my podcast and run Queer Marine Ecology Still-Life Drawing Workshops to celebrate how wonderfully queer the marine world is. From Bisexual Bottlenose Dolphins to Polyamouroous Pinnipeds, my workshops allow people to question what Queer Ecology means to them whilst also tapping into their creativity with the live drawing element, using real (ethically sourced) bones as the inspiration!
