Inez is a BASIS-accredited Environmental Advisor and a Forestry Commission Woodland Ambassador. In her day-to-day work, she is an experienced landscape and environmental consultant, specialising in large-scale nature recovery and climate change policy. She brings a breadth of experience across both rural and urban environments, with a strong focus on increasing tree cover across the UK. In 2021, Inez and her partner Chris identified an opportunity to diversify her family farm by integrating tree production into its five-year crop rotation. This vision led to the launch of The Grower, a commercial tree and hedging nursery now producing over two million trees annually. The business has grown rapidly, employing six full-time staff year-round and scaling to twelve during the winter season, supplying high-quality planting stock for nature recovery forestry and farm based projects nationwide.
